Q:   My PX seems to talk  all the time what's wrong

A:   Try setting the PX in Mid or High  energy mode.  

 

Q:   My PX started talking very slow "freaked me out"

A:   Voice change mode will do that it can alter the voice

      Turn off the PX and Back on to clear the voice change

 

Q:   Using win7 I tried to unzip the software  but the folder was empty

A: save the zip file to a new folder on the c:\ drive . then right click on the

    PX.zip file and extract all. There will now be a new folder call PX open it and run the setup.exe

   See the Manual for a step by step install with pictures.

 

Q: I can't get my computer to talk to the PX

A: Look at the last section of the manual " Serial Port Issues"

 

Q:  How long will you build the PX ?

A:  At this point we plan to stop producing the PX  12.1.2010

 

Q: Using Vista I get an error 75, What should I do ?

A: You must "Run As Administrator", or set the exe compatibility to "Windows XP/SP2" and "Run as Administrator"

 

Q:  Who builds the PX.

A:  LOL, myself and my ten fat little fingers the PX is hand made.

 

Q:  I can't get sound out of the Audio jack ! Original PX

A: The jack is for NON-Amplified speaker only 8 to 32 ohms with a 1/8 inch stereo jack

     If you try to use an external amplifier the PX will turn off the Audio.

A: The jack is for Amplified speaker with a 1/8 inch stereo jack

     try useing an external amplifier the PX. 

 

Q: The PX is just an ovilus right !

A: No, the PX sounds like the Ovilus but that's about it. from the ground up it was a new design.

  

Q: My PX keeps saying dictionary it's broken !

A: Change your batteries

 

Q: I cant get the PX to say words higher than 750

A: Dowbload 1.41 PX software, under word list clcik on restore word list.

 

Q: What is the Black Box shown on version 1.5 PX / Ovilus  software?

A: A docking station for the PX and Ovilus X.
