I have used the Ovilus on a half dozen locations and investigations. I first used it at Rolling Hills and was amazed at obtaining an EVP to coincide with what was coming through in the dictionary mode. Since there are 512 words, hearing words not on the list blew me away. I soon came to realize with further use during a private investigation and at Waverly Hills that this device is another new exciting tool in this field that does work and allows what I believe to be a form of communication to occur between what can be labeled as either place memory in the environment or/and a conscious energy. This energy, upon my experiments and research, can and does communicate back with messages. In one case it even named the individual who walked into the room, and his name is not on the list and no other word is even close to matching it. I plan on doing further study and research with this device.

Wolfe Manor, Fresno, California. 16th August 2009. The Haunting’s in Wolfe Manor seem to steam from its history as an asylum. One key characters in the history of the manor was a nurse called George. It has been alleged he used to expose himself to patients and make unprofessional advances to female patients.

On the weekend of the 16th August I was running tests with an Obivlis supplied by Digital dowsing. The box has been designed with a voice chip which has been pre programmed with just over 500 English words.  During the tests I was reminded of the words of the inventor. ‘People need to take a rational grounded approach to any device that creates speech or text. The power of suggestion is very strong!The device does not use any type of random generator or sweep function. No algorithm is employed to produce text or speech in a specific pattern.So with that in mind the odds of this device saying a word that contextually correct is 1 in 512 And in the phonetic speech mode the odds are only 1 in 71. But considering we work in the paranormal field the odds were very good.                                                 

                                                            However the results were very different.                                                 

During the tests in Wolfe manor three approx 30 minute sessions were conducted in the same area, I kept a record during each session of the words mentioned and in some cases the words were not recognised and the simple approximation to what it sounded like was noted in the records.Some researchers present during the tests recognised words which were appearing in the German language, which the device was not programmed to produce. After the analysis approx 75% of    the words which were produced by the box were not programmed into its chipset. So what we saw was over 65 words that were recorded during the three         sessions 33 words in total, just over 50% were not programmed onto the chip. It certainly does warrant more investigation, there are more developments ahead in regards this technology and I look forward to working with Digital Dowsing in the months ahead.
